<P CLASS=white>Goodchild-Cuffley's work focuses on women, history and life's "journey", and has been shown in solo and group exhibitions since the early 1980s. Her most recent solo exhibition was "Telling Tales" in September 2003 at Artholes Gallery in Fitzroy.
<P CLASS=white>Her previous major exhibition was "FairyTales". From May 2001 to August 2002, it was exhibited at Herons Gallery in Castlemaine, the Bendigo Regional Arts Centre, the Tin Shed in Malmsbury, and Brougham Gallery in Geelong.
<P CLASS=white>In November 2002, the five main paintings from this series travelled to London, where they were exhibited at Australia House.
<P CLASS=white>Tragically, Janet's daughter, Sarah, committed suicide in July 2001, after a brief mental illness. Her recent work has been a series of paintings and drawings exploring her deep loss and the process of grieving.
<P CLASS=white>Goodchild-Cuffley also teaches painting, drawing and illustration at Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE.</P>
